Race season underway with Perfs

1904RT’s inaugural season got underway this weekend, with three riders competing over a weekend characterised by high winds and incessant drizzle.

Andy Critchlow demonstrated that his winter training is well on track, staying with the main bunch at the prestigious Perfs Pedal race to take 27th from an extremely strong 85 rider field.

Jamie Pullen took to the crit circuit at Hillingdon, winning the bunch sprint to take fourth position overall after an attacking race with plenty of attempts to break up the field.

Viv Tomlin went solo at the Kingston Wheelers sporting 14 time trial, battling wind and rain to complete the course in 40 minutes 17 seconds, to achieve a top ten in a competitive field where the winning (road bike) time was 38m05s.
